In 4 words:
To save you time!
We have been in your shoes, we know what it means to want to find the best nanny for your kids. And using a company, like The Nanny Haven, takes the doubt out of the process.
We screen each candidate as if they would be watching our own children.
We are committed to ensuring each family is matched with the best candidate, not just on paper, but their personality, core beliefs, and job expectations.
We take the time to get to know you, your goals, and the general flow of your family life. We then take our time to ensure we make the most informed decision on who will be the ideal nanny candidate(s) for your family.
We utilize the most up-to-date and thorough screening in Utah, and across the country, to ensure that you are getting only quality candidates.
We then send them to you to for final approval.
For each candidate you will receive a candidate overview, a head-shot, and personal notes as to why each candidate was selected for your family.
We understand the stress and anxiety of trusting someone outside of your family to watch your child.
This natural parental concern is the main reason we created a our nanny agency and developed a system for hiring, screening, and training our nannies.
We have a thorough application process which enables us to get to know the nanny's personal values, ethics, and childcare philosophies and match them to your family, your philosophies, and your long-term goals for your children's care.
All of our nannies pass not only a basic skills assessment, but they also must show advanced knowledge in child care, development, health, safety and nutrition.
Additional skills available, including: languages, instruments, swimming, etc.
We do a thorough interview with all of our applicants which allows us to get to know them, so we can make the best match for you.
We require each of our nannies to complete our comprehensive nanny training.
We conduct a comprehensive criminal background check on all our nannies. We check the national sex offender registry, verify their driving records, and personally speak to their references.
We take pride in our nanny selection and take our role as your nanny agency very personally.
Once we place a nanny in your home, whether through placement or employment, we continue to follow up with you and them.
Employees are required to participate in continuing education courses, and placement nannies are encouraged to participate in these courses through the nanny agency on their free time.
We have you fill out our family intake form, this give us the foundational information about your family, your goals, and what you are looking for in a nanny.
Over the phone:
Next, one of our family intake coordinators will give you a call to follow up on anything we are unclear on, and to get to know you a little more.
We begin the search for your perfect nanny by using our internal candidate pool. If we need to reach out from there we will use our professional connection and screening process.
DID YOU KNOW?
Each of our nannies are screened on several key assessments, including an internal training to ensure they are meeting our top-shelf standards.
We will only send you the best candidates that meet your needs and wants. We will include a professional candidate review which includes work history, head shot, and additional information on why they are one of our top picks.
You will get to review each candidate an make a selection on who you want to interview. We know that you can't make a final decision simply by what you see on paper, you will need to "meet" each candidate that you choose.
During your individual interview with each candidate you will get a chance to get to know them better. This will help you make a final decision.
Once you have made the final selection, we encourage our families to take part in a working interview.
This is a time for you to watch your chosen candidate interact with you and your children.
This helps prevent two hurdles:
1- "Nanny Remorse" which can happen when you have what looks to be the perfect choice but they just don't seem to connect with your family in person.
2- Deciding Between Two Top-Choices
Sometimes there are just two really good candidates and it is hard to choose one via a single interview. This gives you a chance to see both top choices in action before making a final selection.
