The process for finding the perfect Nanny or Household Manager through The Nanny Haven is simple and straightforward.
Client Application
Step 1: Client Application
Fill out our client application so we can learn more about your family, your household, and what you're looking for in a nanny or household manager.
Step 2: Family Review
We review every application to ensure the position offers legal pay and fair benefits. This step protects both our candidates and the integrity of our placement process.
Family Consultation ($300)
Once we've confirmed your family is a good fit for our agency, we'll schedule a Zoom consultation to go over every detail of the position — schedule, responsibilities, compensation, and expectations — before we begin the candidate search. The consultation fee is due at the time of scheduling the family consultation.
Candidate Search
Once we have a clear understanding of your family's needs and preferences, we will post a detailed job description on our website for career nannies to apply. We also utilize our extensive network of professional nannies to find the best possible matches.
We have a rigorous screening process that includes background checks, reference checks, and interviews to ensure that every nanny candidate we recommend is safe, reliable, and qualified.
Candidate Presentation
Once we have identified potential candidate matches, we present their profiles for you to review. You will be able to view all of their past experience and letters of recommendations from past employers, nanny experience and a bio. You will then select which candidates they would like to interview.
Placement Fee Due
Once the Terms of Hire is signed between you and your candidate, the remaining placement fee will be due with 24 hours of a signed contract.
Interviews
We begin interviews via zoom, and will schedule interviews between you and your selected candidates. We then arrange in-person interviews with your top candidates! If you wishes to skip zoom interviews, we will schedule in-person right away!
Contact Information Shared
After the placement fee has been completed, we will send you the candidates contact information and you will contact them directly to make plans for their start date. W are always here to answer any questions after the placement is complete.
Offer
Once you have selected the candidate that you wish to hire, we will extend a verbal offer. Once the candidate has accepted, we will pull a recent background check and send it to you for your records. We will then draft the contract and send it to you to review, edit, and sign! The candidate will then sign the contract, and a start date will be in place.
Contract Guarantee
A full-time placement comes with a 12 month replacement period.
