The process for finding the perfect Nanny or Household Manager through The Nanny Haven is simple and straightforward.
Below is an overview of our nanny placement process.
Initial Consultation
We begin the process by scheduling an initial consultation with the family to discuss their specific needs and preferences. This consultation is generally conducted over the phone.
Family Consultation
This is a 45-minute Zoom consultation with our placement coordinator, who will thoroughly assess your family's needs and the type of caregiver required. We will gather detailed information about your children and their schedules to ensure a better match with a suitable candidate.
Candidate Search
Once we have a clear understanding of the family's needs and preferences, we begin the search for qualified nanny candidates. We utilize our extensive network of professional nannies to find the best possible matches.
Screening Process
We have a rigorous screening process that includes background checks, reference checks, and in-person interviews to ensure that every nanny candidate we recommend is safe, reliable, and qualified.
Candidate Presentation
Once we have identified potential nanny candidates, we present their profiles and resumes to the family for review. The family can then select which candidates they would like to interview.
Interviews and Trial Periods
We schedule interviews between the family and the selected nanny candidates, and we may also arrange for a paid trial period during which the nanny candidate can work with the family.
Placement
Once a family has selected a nanny candidate and an agreement has been reached, we help facilitate the placement process. This includes drafting and finalizing a contract, coordinating start dates, scheduling and providing ongoing support throughout the placement.

STEP 1
Complete the Client Application
After reviewing your application, we will call you within 24 hours to discuss your childcare needs in greater detail, and to discuss if The Nanny Haven is the right fit for your family. CLICK HERE for the Application.
STEP 2
Schedule a Family Consultation
The Next step is to schedule a Family Consultation where you will discuss with a placement cordinator the details of your Nanny needs. There is a $300 (non-refundable) consultation fee which will be due prior to scheduling your Family Consultation. The fee includes nanny profiles, nanny interviews, family support, and a complete background check after a verbal offer has been made on your nanny.
STEP 3
Interviews
We will send Nanny Profiles for each candidate that we feel will be a great fit for your family. We will then set up zoom interviews with the nanny's of your choice. We will send 3-5 nanny profiles, and in-person interviews will take place as the final step before an offer is made.
STEP 4
Offer/Sign Contract
Once you have chosen the best candidate for your family, it's time to review and submit your Nanny/Family Contract. Once the offer has been reviewed and signed by the Nanny, she is ready to begin work!
